NPO留学協会とは
留学協会は平成15年5月に内閣府より認証を受け留学業の健全な育成と発展に資するために発足した非営利活動法人（NPO）です。留学カウンセラー、心理カウンセラー、弁護士などの各分野の専門を有し、留学業界のあるべき姿の提言やそれに伴う留学トラブルの相談、さらには、業界への啓蒙、教育活動を中心に活動を展開しています。
For studying abroad safely and without worry
Who is Ryugaku Kyokai? NPO "Ryugaku Kyokai (Study Abroad Support
Council)" is a specified nonprofit organization (NPO) certified by
the Cabinet Office, May 2003. With an increase in the number of students
who study abroad, the number of students who get involved in difficulties
has also increased. KITA Takeo, lawyer and former Fulbrighter of the inaugural
class and the first administrative director of Ryugaku Kyokai, leads experts
in various fields, such as lawyers and study abroad counselors, to provide
the following assistance activities so that young people who seek overseas
education can do so safely and without worry.It is the mission of Ryugaku
Kyokai to cooperate in developing human resources who can contribute to
the international community through these activities.
１ Consultation for studying abroad（free counseling）
①Study abroad advisory center
Every Wednesday 16:00～18:00（please make an appointment）
②Advisory center for difficulties whilst studying abroad
Every Monday 11:00～14:00（please make an appointment）
２ Training and guidance for study abroad advisors
In order to succeed in studying abroad, it is helpful to have suitable
support provided by reliable counselors. This should concern not only the
preparation before you depart, including, for example, "if the selected
university is the right choice according to the aim of the student",
but also the mental attitude required during the stay abroad and care after
studying abroad.
Ryugaku Kyokai undertakes qualification tests, gives the qualification,
and provides training for people having sufficient knowledge and experience,
to train as Ryugakukyokai-Certified-Advisers (RCA) who can help students
aiming to study abroad. Currently, 600 RCAs are active in various locations
around the world.

① Briefing sessions about studying abroad presented to primary schools, junior high schools, high schools, colleges, universities, and educational institutions, etc.
② Pre-departure orientation for students going abroad to study
③ Supportive training for students who have returned from studying abroad

are thinking of studying abroad or who are studying abroad

Ryugaku Kyokai is operated with membership fees paid by companies and organizations
that affirm and support our activities and from contributions by individual
supporters.
